Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

 

Shuck It Up Ltd ("We", "Our", "Us"). These terms and conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our seafood catering services for private events. By booking our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

 

2. Services

 

We provide seafood catering services for private events. Our services include food preparation, delivery, and setup as specified in your booking confirmation.

 

3. Booking and Deposit

 

3.1. To secure your booking, we require a 50% deposit one month before the event date.

 

3.2. The deposit is non-refundable, except as specified in our Cancellation Policy.

 

3.3. Your booking will be confirmed once the deposit is received.

 

4. Payment Terms

 

4.1. The remaining balance is due on the day of the event.

 

4.2. We accept card payments (excluding American Express) and bank transfers.

 

4.3. All payments must be made in GBP (£).

 

5. Cancellation Policy

 

5.1. If you need to cancel your booking, please notify us as soon as possible.

 

5.2. Cancellations made more than 14 days before the event will receive a full refund of the deposit.

 

5.3  For cancellations made less than 14 days before the event, please contact us to discuss the possible refund amount. Certain seafood products must be          pre-booked and paid for two weeks in advance and are non-refundable.

 

6. Changes to Booking

 

6.1. If you need to make changes to your booking, please contact us at least two weeks before the event.

 

6.2. We will do our best to accommodate changes, but we cannot guarantee that all requests will be fulfilled.

 

7. Event Details

 

7.1. You must provide accurate event details, including date, time, location, and number of guests.

 

7.2. We are not responsible for any issues arising from incorrect information provided by you.

 

8. Food Safety and Allergies

 

8.1. We adhere to strict food safety standards and regulations.

 

8.2. Please inform us of any allergies or dietary requirements at the time of booking.

 

8.3. While we take precautions to prevent cross-contamination, we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.

 

9. Liability

 

9.1. We are not liable for any loss or damage suffered by you or your guests, except where such loss or damage is due to our negligence.

 

9.2. Our total liability to you in respect of all other losses arising under or in connection with our services shall in no circumstances exceed the total amount paid by you for our services.

 

10. Force Majeure

 

We are not liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where such failure or delay results from events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to strikes, lock-outs, accidents, war, fire, breakdown of plant or machinery, or shortage or unavailability of raw materials from a natural source of supply.

 

11. Governing Law

 

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
